Warm Moldovan pies,

Traditionally called plăcinte (pronounced pluh-CHIN-teh): golden, comforting pies with cheese (brânză), cheese with herbs, potato, cabbage, and sour cherry — prepared for limited launch drops near Amsterdam. We are validating demand before opening the first official delivery pilot.

Delivery is €6.89 for Couple and Family boxes. Party Box includes free delivery. Each Moldovan pie is expected to be around 280g. Delivery availability depends on postcode and first pilot route planning.

During the pilot, we will start with limited delivery zones around Amsterdam. If we cannot deliver to your postcode during the first food drop, you can still join the waitlist and we’ll notify you when your area becomes available.

Allergen information

Our Moldovan pies are handmade-style savory pies. Based on the current recipe direction, they may contain: gluten/wheat, milk/lactose, and egg. Cheese pies contain milk/lactose and may contain egg. Potato and cabbage pies still may contain gluten, milk/lactose, and egg if prepared with the same dough.

Final allergen information will be confirmed before the first paid food drop. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us before reserving or ordering.

In Moldova, these pies are called plăcinte — the sound of family gathering around the table, and the feeling of someone cooking something simple, but full of care. Every family has its own version: thinner, thicker, softer, crispier.

We’re bringing that feeling to the Netherlands through small, limited food drops — made professionally, delivered warm, and shared with people who miss home or want to discover a new kind of comfort food.

How the first food drop works

Four clear steps before the first cooking day.

    We check postcode demand

    We look for enough people in one reachable Amsterdam delivery area before cooking.

  3. Step 3

    We announce the order window

    Once the zone is practical, we send the final menu, prices, allergens, and delivery window.

  4. Step 4

    You confirm the real order

    Only then do you confirm your food choice. If you reserved €7 credit, it comes off that order.

Is this a real food order?

Not yet. This is a validation pilot, not a fully launched restaurant. You are not ordering a specific food box today. You are joining the first-drop list and, if you choose the €7 option, reserving priority access with refundable credit.

What happens to my €7?

The €7 credit is a signal of intent, not an immediate food order. If the pilot launches in your area, it will be deducted from your first real order. If you change your mind before the first confirmed order window, or if we do not launch in your postcode, you can request a full refund.

When is the first drop?

The first date is not guaranteed yet. We will open the first drop only when enough people in a reachable Amsterdam delivery area show real demand.

Where will you deliver?

We will start with selected Amsterdam postcodes only. The first zone will be chosen based on demand concentration, delivery distance, and operational safety.

What are Moldovan plăcinte?

Plăcinte, pronounced pluh-CHIN-teh, are traditional Moldovan pies: soft, golden, warm, and usually filled with comforting sweet or savory ingredients.

What is brânză?

Brânză, pronounced roughly BRUHN-zuh, is a traditional fresh cheese used in Moldovan and Romanian baking. It is mild, soft, and creamy, closer to fresh farmer cheese than aged cheese.

Why do you also call them Moldovan pies?

Because it is the clearest English description for people discovering them for the first time. Plăcinte is the traditional Moldovan name.

Will there be vegetarian options?

Yes. The first launch is planned around vegetarian-friendly Moldovan pies.

Will allergens be shown?

Yes. Final menu, prices, allergens, delivery area, and delivery time will be confirmed before you place a real food order. Allergen information will be available before purchase.

How will you use my contact details?

Privacy and marketing consent stay separate. WhatsApp updates are optional, and you can join without agreeing to promotional updates.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. The €7 credit is fully refundable before the first confirmed order window. It is also refundable if we do not launch in your delivery area, cancel the pilot, or cannot offer a first-drop order opportunity within the stated pilot period.

Why not just launch immediately?

Because we want to avoid waste, fake demand, and unnecessary investment. We will only cook once there is enough real demand in a practical delivery zone.
